Birds love to interact; for most any parrot, the thing they most want at any given time is to interact and to be with you. This is because they're flock animals, and being good members of the flock is the most important thing possible to them.

Flock membership is a matter of life or death to a bird; parrots feed and defend themselves from predators collectively. A bird is most at ease when it feels it is part of a strong and caring flock. So interact with your bird, reward them with play, cuddling and conversation; punish them by withdrawing the same.
