StuffIKnowAboutComputersAndTheWeb > How To Print Headers
Now, if you want to print headers on your Excel printouts, you might be tempted to select File>Page Setup and then select the Headers tab, but don't do that, because that's only good if you want your header to be something simple and static like "Raul's Report." Most normal people, people who value their audience's time, want to show either column or row titles on their printouts; but when there's too much data to fit on one page, what to do? Excel makes it easy to automatically insert your column or row titles on every printed page:
- File > Page Setup
- Click "Sheet" tab
- Select the "rows to repeat at top" or "columns to repeat at left"
- Success!
