Researching > Good Sources Of Information

Where To Research

  • The corporation's Web site. Read the bios (especially of the person you're meeting with!) and read the pages with general company information
  • Vault
  • Wet Feet
  • OneSource
  • Hoover's
  • Read the newest articles online
  • Procter Library (HOH 2nd floor) has tons of publications and, even better, librarians who know where to look for information
  • Go to where they sell (Mattel: toy store; Nestle: grocery store, etc.)
  • Watch commercials (Mattel: including Saturday Morning Cartoons)
  • Have a good marketing campaign and a bad one in their sector to speak about

Ongoing Research

Read the trade press, both in print and online. Many important publications have student discounts, so you can keep up with the latest events.
