PhotographyTips > The Magic Of ISO 800 Film

These days, the grain on ISO 800 film is so fine that it produces attractive 4x6 prints and enlargements. Shooting in 800, rather than the typical 400, lets you take photos without a flash in many more situations, especially indoors and at dusk, or with a long lens that is very sensitive to camera shake. If you're still shooting film, consider 800 as your "everyday" speed.
