- Target them!
- Draw concentric circles that describe their network, move from the outside in
- "Draft" off of your brand! (In my case, Marshall)
- Have multiple mentors
- Warm the cold call -- find someone between you and your next phone call to drop your name in first
- If you can promise something, then cold call
- Do your homework and bring it up when you talk
- Get past the gatekeeper
- If you get a passive response from he boss then use it
- Use the "warming" person's name
- Trade contacts
