- Corporals (the first level of promotion for non-commissioned troops) need to recognize they're not "one of the guys." The old saying "familiarity breeds contempt" is true, leaders need to stay seperate. This is not to say that leaders are better, by no means! Just apart.
- New leaders often think they need to be perfect and omnitient. Everybody is human! Still, don't say "I don't know" too much, this breeds doubt in your subordinates.
