Interviewing > Tell Me About Yourself
This is the big place where you can sink yourself if you don't answer well.
Start with something like "I'm interested in Marketing because...." End with "The reason I'm so interested in this opportunity is...." Always come full circle that way, and have a thread that holds your story together.
Sprinkle your acronym from your resume in there. And don't forget the jargon! This is your focus statement -- it's your strong start that includes nuggets of information and keywords to intrigue the recruiter. Seven plus or minus two items is a great number to have in here. And tune your focus statement to introduce one that connects you to the company with which you're interviewing.
Have a quick action-results style. "When I was X we accomplished Y, which we were very proud of."
Answer the question of what skills you have and why you're a fit.
