Keep your sentences simple, because simple is clear. Remember that your only goal is communicate your message, and that clarity is key to that goal. So, make your sentences simple. Just one subject, one verb, a couple of adjectives. It'll be clear and easy-to-read, and, while it may be simple, everyone will appreciate that they understand what's going on.
