BusinessTips > Erase Old Marks From Your Dry Erase Board
Dry erase boards are great, but if you leave your writing/drawing/charting up there long enough, it never seems to come off. But you can rescue your dry erase board! Here's how:
- Take a dry erase marker and color over the entire area you want to clean; make sure you cover it pretty completely.
- Give it a minute to dry; it works better this way.
- Take a dry erase eraser and erase what you just drew. I find a circular motion (erase on-erase off) works best. Stick with it; this step can take a minute or two. Watch your old writing disappear!
- Use your dry erase board spray cleaner or cleaning wipe to fully clean the board.
